Our stop smoking client consultation report where we asked women why they struggled to stop smoking during pregnancy in Bristol and North Somerset. What did they think about services to help them and how did they work?

Healthwatch Bristol worked in partnership with Dhek Bhal in organising focus group workshops on emotional health and wellbeing in the South Asian community in February 2018.

In November 2018 Healthwatch Bristol worked collaboratively with the University of Bristol on their 3D project, teaching first year medical students about f diversity, discrimination and disadvantage.

The purpose of this enter and view was a revisit following the previous
Healthwatch visit on Monday 24 October 2016, to observe if our
recommendations from the report had been implemented. Also to gather feedback
from residents and their families.

On 6 November 2018 Healthwatch Bristol held a breast health awareness event at St Paul's Learning Centre for women in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK

We are delighted to bring you our latest report from July -September 2018. We met with North Bristol NHS Trust, MacMillan, Cancer Research UK, Bristol Black Carers to organise a joint Breast Health Awareness Day.

The Care Forum was recruited in 2018 to talk confidentially with women who did not stop smoking during pregnancy in Bristol and North Somerset. We asked why they didn’t stop smoking, and asked them how support could work better in future.
