Videos in 10 languages to help more people understand key advice
People in Black and Minority Ethic Groups have been the most impacted by virus and need to have accessible information on how to access services. The clips were recorded by people from different communities in Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bengali, Farsi, Kurdish, Pashto, Turkish, Punjabi and Somali as well as English.
Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos Clinical Commissioning Group used volunteers coordinated by Community Access Support Service (CASS) to produce the video which outline Government guidance on staying safe from the virus as well as mental health tips to ensure people feel more connected and able to access help if they need to.

We are pleased that the CCG recognised the communications need of communities who are both disproportionately impacted by Covid-19 and more marginalised in our society. We were very happy to use our community networks to identify volunteers willing to record these videos and we will look to be proactively promoting the videos back out into the wider communities.
