"Co-producing what works for our communities in this city" - An evaluation of the Bristol Race Equality Covid-19 Steering Group
The Bristol Race Equality Covid-19 Steering Group was established in 2020 as impact the pandemic was having on minoritised or marginalised communities became clear.
Members of the steering group focused on providing comprehensive and accessible information about the pandemic and its impact, and developing bespoke, culturally-informed responses.
The University of Bristol have evaluated the work of the steering group, praising the 'co-ordinated and collaborative approach to policy-making and practice'. Their report looks at the establishment of the group, its activities, strengths, opportunities for improvement, and how the group's work should develop in the future.
