On February 2 2022, our Prioritisation Panel came together to discuss the health and social care issues you've raised, and what Healthwatch Bristol can do to bring about change.
At the Bristol Prioritisation Panel on February 2, our volunteers along with our Bristol Area Lead, Julie Bird, came together to discuss the issues that you, the public, have raised with us.
Topics included adult social care, mental health services, and issues around accessing and booking appointments with GPs.
We chose five topics that we plan to look at over the coming months:
- digital access to healthcare including NHS apps
- adolescent mental health - support when transitioning to adult services
- health inequalities
- support for parents whose young children are struggling with their mental health
- women's health and support for women
